Engelberg-Titlis is one of the largest winter holiday destinations in Central Switzerland. The 3239-meter-high glacier and local mountain Titlis guarantees snow well into spring and offers almost every type of ski run you could wish for.
The sporty slopes and a high degree of snow reliability make the Engelberg-Titlis region the ideal venue for the alpine competitions at the Military World Winter Games. In addition, Engelberg-Titlis is the annual venue for alpine sports competitions and the local sports clubs have extensive experience in planning and executing winter sports events. The organizing committee of the 5th CISM Military World Winter Games is therefore working closely with local sports clubs and the national ski association Swiss-Ski.
High up on the Joch Pass, the athletes will be sent out onto the slopes during the CISM Military World Winter Games. The races will end right in front of the Bärghuis Jochpass.
