At the 5th CISM Military World Winter Games, competitions will be held in the traditional, official CISM winter sports, where the necessary infrastructure exists. In addition, competitions in cross-country running and sports climbing will be carried out. Demonstration sports will also be included in the programme in order to give winter sports that are not as well-established a platform at the Military World Winter Games. In addition to the sports listed below, Switzerland will include parasport competitions to allow soldiers who have been injured in action to take part in the Games.
